4 Film screening

On the 27th of April the screening “The Collection” takes place on Nyzhnyoyurkivska 31, Kyiv. The program includes short Dutch experimental films & animations.

5 Visit of Minister Frans Timmermans to Ukraine

On the 25th of April 2013 the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Lithuania and the Netherlands and the Minister of European Affairs of Denmark visited Kyiv, Ukraine. They held talks with president Yanukovych and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kozhara. They also met with members of the opposition and representatives of the civil society.

7 Culinary master classes of Menno Post

Master classes of Menno Post, Dutch chef of the two Michelin-star restaurant De Bokkedoorns will take place in the Culinary Academy on April 22 and April 23.

8 Holland Days

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine has the honour to invite you to the Holland Days in Ukraine, which this year will take place in April. These days and events will precede a very special occasion on April 30 – the so-called “Troonswisseling” (“Abdication and Investiture”).

9 Visit to Chişinau, Moldova

From March 4-7, 2013, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy in Kyiv paid a visit to Chişinau, Moldova.

10 Centenary Celebration Peace Palace

The Hague, 14 March 2013 – Today, Bernard Bot, the Chairman of the Dutch Carnegie Foundation and Marjolein de Jong, Deputy Mayor of The Hague, officially kicked off the centenary celebrations of the Peace Palace. Most of the celebrations – an initiative of the Dutch Carnegie Foundation, the Municipality of The Hague and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs – will take place between 28 August and 21 September, the UN International Day of Peace. In addition, Jeremy Gilley, the founder of the non-profit organisation Peace One Day, and Mario Kadiks of Like2Run presented the plans today for the Peace Concert, a large-scale event featuring a number of world-class acts, and the Peace Run, a unique one-time running event on a special circuit around the Peace Palace.
